Our Story

How Belleflower started.

I'm Carlos — a professional dog trainer who fell head over heels for this breed. We got our first Cavapoo, Skye, and honestly? Everywhere we went, people wanted a dog just like ours. So we decided to raise them ourselves — and here we are.

Being a trainer changes how I see it. I've worked with thousands of dogs, and while a lot comes down to how they're raised, a huge part is simply genetics — the temperament they're born with. So that's what we pour everything into: raising open, friendly, easygoing pups, right in our home, around our three kids and everyday family life. It's what makes them such wonderful companions, and why some even go on to become service dogs.

The name Belleflower means beautiful flower — after a place close to our hearts. Raising a puppy is a lot like tending a garden: the right start, patience, and a whole lot of love make all the difference.

Skye was our very first Cavapoo, and she set the standard for everything we value. Every single night she sleeps with our youngest daughter — the two are inseparable. She's naturally loving, calm, and gentle with all people and animals, and especially with children. We've never met anyone who doesn't fall for her, even people who "hate doodles." Affectionate without being overwhelming, confident without being pushy, steady in any environment. As a mother she was nothing short of amazing — attentive, nurturing, and patient. There's truly nothing we'd change about Skye. She's the heart of our program.

Wiley is the kind of dog people instantly connect with, especially families with children. She's calm and loving inside the home, yet fun, energetic, and playful the moment it's time to go outside. She has an exceptional ability to match the moment — she knows when to settle and when to play, which is exactly why kids are drawn to her. Patient, trustworthy, and never too rough, she's also one of the smartest, most trainable pups we've ever raised. Her balanced temperament, intelligence, and adaptability are exactly what we hope to pass on to her puppies.

Blue shares her sister Wiley's wonderful qualities, but with a more calm, laid-back personality. Beautiful inside and out, she's incredibly sweet and an ideal match for families wanting a relaxed, easygoing companion. She loves affection without ever being demanding — happy to be by your side and soak up love. Naturally gentle with people and every animal she meets, she brings a sense of calm wherever she goes. Blue also carries a rare blue merle coat, making her as special in looks as she is in temperament — and she loves her treats, which makes training a breeze.

What exactly is a Cavapoo?

A Cavapoo is a cross between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Poodle — bred for a gentle, affectionate temperament and a low-shedding, low-dander coat. They're smart, people-loving, and wonderful with kids and other pets.

How big do they get?

Our Cavapoos are on the smaller side — the girls are around 13–15 lbs, and pups typically mature to roughly 12–18 lbs. We'll give you the expected adult size for each specific litter.

Are they good for allergies?

Cavapoos are low-shedding and low-dander, which many allergy-sensitive families do well with — but no dog is 100% hypoallergenic. If allergies are a concern, we're happy to have you spend time with our dogs first.

How do you handle health?

Health is at the center of our program. Our dogs are vet-checked and cared for like family, and we're steadily completing health testing as we grow. Every puppy goes home vet-checked, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, dewormed, and with a written health guarantee.
